Kindle Review
Kindle Wireless Review - Here are the facts.
The kindle wireless reading device has alot of really great features. I'd like to give you a good idea of the value you'll be getting upon purchase.
Benefits:
-The new kindle has been streamlined compared to it's older version. It looks much more high-tech and elegant
-It reads exactly like a book meaning that it doesn't have a backlight. So you will either have to be in the light, or have a portable backlight.
-It can hold up to 1500 books, which is more than you'll ever need.
-Here's the best part: You get to read each chapter of any book for free, before deciding to purchase it. This is a great deal, as it will give you enough of an idea if you want to buy or not.
-Download time is immediate. If you want a book, or are interested you will literally be able to read it within 1 minute.
-There are no membership fees or download fees.
-It is compatible for both left handed and right handed people.
-Has a very long battery life, and doesn't overheat.
There are a few disadvantages:
-There is a brief 1/2 second delay when flipping each page. Not really a much of a pain.
-You cannot write post it notes on the kindle. You will require a notepad or journal to take notes.
-It reads only kindle and PDF format files. It can read other file types like doc, word, text, etc, but you will require Amazon to convert the files at a very low cost.
-Each title on the kindle, cannot be shared on other kindles.
-If you only like reading with "real" books, then only you can talk yourself into using the kindle!
Personally, I love it because I travel alot and love to read. So, I can carry hundreds of titles and enjoy countless hours of my favorite books.
I would strongly suggest picking up a kindle if you are a reader.
